How to make air fryer potatoes
Soak the diced potatoes in water to cover by an inch. Let them stand 15 minutes, then drain the potatoes in a colander and rinse them thoroughly. This is an optional step but worth doing for the crispiest potatoes. Pat the potatoes dry. Make sure you remove any visible moisture with kitchen towels. Place the potatoes in a bowl. Season the potatoes. Add the turmeric, cayenne, garlic, mint and olive oil to the bowl with the potatoes. Mix thoroughly with your hands or with a ladle. Air fry the potatoes. Place the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Roast potatoes in air fryer set to 400 degrees Fahrenheit/205 degrees Celsius for 16 minutes. Every five minutes remove the air fryer basket and toss the spuds around to make sure they cook evenly. Serve hot. The potatoes are at their crispiest best when they come out of the oven so eat them as quickly as you possibly can.
