on Aug 08, 2024 Super healthy, yummy and kid-friendly is the best way to describe this paneer chocolate pudding! Paneer in a dessert sounds strange, but it is what gives this chocolate pudding its signature creaminess. Plus, you won’t even realise it’s in there! What we get in the end is a creamy, protein-rich, and super chocolate-y dessert that will make you want to lick your bowl clean. The fact that this one’s also low sugar means you can consume it guilt free!
Ingredients Overview
This recipe calls for just 6 basic ingredients, nothing fancy. These ingredients are very easy to work with and are super beginner-friendly. This paneer chocolate pudding is already eggless and 100% vegetarian, but you can easily make it vegan by replacing paneer with tofu and the milk with a plant based alternative. I have used milk chocolate to make this recipe as I wanted to make it more kid-friendly, however you can easily swap it for dark chocolate if that’s what you prefer.
Richa’s Top Tips To Make The Best Paneer Chocolate Pudding
I highly recommend making your own homemade paneer for the best flavor and texture. However, store-bought paneer works too. If using store-bought, make sure to get malai paneer as that delivers richer and creamier results. Be careful while melting chocolate as it tends to burn very easily. Always microwave chocolate in 15 second spurts and stop when 80% of the chocolate has melted, as it’ll continue melting due to residual heat
