Ingredients To Make Rose & Honey Flavoured Oats

Oats: I prefer to use instant rolled oats from Quaker as they’re easily available and cook very quickly. You can also use steel cut oats if want something less processed. Rose petals: I use dried rose petals for this recipe. You can easily find this at a baking products shop as well as online. Milk: I have used regular skimmed milk for this recipe. You can use any milk that you like. Honey: For flavor and to add a dash of sweetness to the dish. Even though you can replace it with sugar, I don’t recommend it as honey adds a lovely earthiness that sugar can’t. Cardamom: Crushed and turned into powder for flavor and seasoning.

Top Tips To Make The Best Rose and Honey Flavoured Oats

Make sure to use the best quality rose petals you can find for the best flavor. Even though I have used regular milk, you can easily make this vegan by opting for either coconut or nut milk of your choice. You can adjust the consistency of this dish as per your liking. I like to keep it creamy, rather than runny, but it’s totally up to you. Serve this while it’s still warm as oats tend to harden up once cold.

These rose and honey flavored oats are the perfect thing to start your day with. Not only is it absolutely delicious, but it’s filling and will keep you full for hours!
