These Mushroom and Chickpea Turnovers are one of my son Jay’s favorite foods. Because they are crispy and savory and which child doesn’t love that? They also make a great snack or a lunchbox/brown bag and they are utterly delicious. You can even make them with my whole wheat puff pastry, making them even healthier. One of the best things about this recipe– one I know all moms will like to hear – is that it comes together in minutes. The only prep work you need to do is chop the mushrooms and onions and coriander leaves. Now for the recipe. Enjoy, all!
